The brief

Zoos need a record of every animal’s care, kept in the field and read in the office. ZooLog+ gives keepers an app and managers an admin to review it.

What we built

The ZooLog+ admin web app, sample data for a fictional park: Good morning, 27 animals and 7 keepers, with total animals, logs today, open urgent, off food and overdue care, the latest logs, and Nothing needs attention. — The admin web app. Today’s logs, who is on shift and anything that needs attention, on one screen.

An animal’s record in the admin, sample data: a Sumatran tiger with logging counts, a weight and body-condition chart, health checks and an incident history, and a button to record a weight. — Every animal’s record. Logs, weight, health and incident history for each animal, exported when it is asked for.

The logs list in the admin, sample data: 31 logs today, with when, animal, keeper, type and note for each, and search, type, source, date and urgent filters. — Logs and review. Every log by animal, keeper and type, with filters and a tab for the ones sent back.
