Websites by trade
Charity and church website design.
People come to a charity's website to visit, give, volunteer or ask for help. We build sites that put each of those one tap away, as we did for Perthshire Zoo.

Where charity websites let supporters down
- Visitors cannot find how to donate, or the button goes to a page that looks nothing like you.
- Your charity number is hard to find, so people cannot check you are who you say.
- A volunteer built the site, and nobody else knows the login.
- Events and service times are out of date.
- You changed your name, and supporters still search for the old one.
What you get
Donate on every page
A Donate button in the header, linked to the giving page or platform you use, with Gift Aid explained.
Your charity number shown
Your name, your charity number and that you are a charity, as OSCR in Scotland or the Charity Commission in England and Wales expects, in every page footer.
Events and services
What is on, service times and how to visit, on pages that are easy to keep current.
Volunteers and help
How to volunteer, and how to get help if you offer it, with a form that reaches the right person.
A name change handled
If you have renamed, a page that explains it, as we did for Perthshire Zoo.
Not left to one volunteer
Hosting, security and up to 2 small changes a week, so the site does not depend on one person's login.
How it works
Tell us about the charity
What you do, who you help and how people give now. Asking is free.
A fixed price in writing
We reply by the next working day with the price for your site.
Draft, review, approve
We draft the pages and find the images. Your trustees or minister approve everything before it goes live.
Live, then looked after
Your site goes live on your own domain, and we keep it running and up to date.

Questions
How much does a charity website cost?
It depends on what the site needs to do. Charity sites are quoted the same way as any other: a fixed price in writing, by the next working day.
Can people donate through the website?
Yes. We link the Donate button to the giving platform you use. A donation form built for you is quoted separately.
Do you build church websites?
Yes: service times, events, hall hire and giving. We have also linked a Church of Scotland hall's heating to its booking diary.
Who updates the site?
We do, with up to 2 small changes a week, so it does not rely on one volunteer. Send us the change and we make it.
Do you work with charities across the UK?
Yes. zxn.uk is registered in Scotland and works online, so we build for charities and churches anywhere in the UK.
Run a charity, church or community group?
Tell us what you need. We reply by the next working day with a fixed price in writing.
