The brief
Raj Rani is an Indian takeaway on Hoath Lane in Wigmore. It delivers to Rainham, Wigmore and Hempstead and is open Tuesday to Sunday evenings.
The new site puts the menu, ordering, contact details and the points scheme in one place, and sends guests on to the restaurant's own ordering service rather than taking orders itself. It is built and ready for the owners to look over, and it is not live yet.
What the site does
Call, message or order online from any page
An Order now button sits in the header of every page, and the home page adds Order by phone and a note on whether the restaurant is open. The contact page shows the phone number with the opening times and a form for sending a message. Orders themselves are taken by the restaurant's existing ordering service. We did not build that.
Browse the whole menu and search it
The menu opens on the meal deals, with a search box and a list of sections down the side: curries, starters, wraps, biryanis, sides, kids' options and drinks. The restaurant's allergy wording sits beside the menu.
Earn money off future orders with a points scheme
A page explains how regulars earn money off future orders: get the app, order, then redeem, with a worked example so the rule is clear at a glance.
Also in place: A privacy page, a cookie choice for visitors and a newsletter sign-up.
