The brief
Vantage Linguists provides interpreters and translators for healthcare, legal, education and community work in Scotland. Its old website was short, and its wording leaned on US rules and terms rather than Scottish ones.
The aim was a new site that speaks to Scottish public services, keeps the colours, logo and typeface the owner knew, and makes asking for a quote easy.
What the site does
A page for every service, sector and language
Visitors can open a page for each of the three services (interpreting, translation and training), each of ten sectors and each of four languages.
Read wording written for Scotland
Visitors read about NHS Scotland, councils, sheriff courts and UK GDPR, in place of the US references on the old site.
A quote and enquiry form that reaches the inbox
Visitors can send a quote request that arrives by email, with spam filtered out, and the form still works if their browser has its extra features switched off. A test enquiry went through on launch day.
Keep using the sector links you already have
The old sector page addresses were kept, so links that already existed carry over to the new site.
Use a sharp logo and matching brand pack
The owner can use a logo redrawn to stay sharp at any size, with matching colours, social media images, stationery and website icons gathered into a brand pack with guidelines.
Also in place: A privacy notice, an accessibility statement, cookie choices for visitors, security protections, and what Google needs to read the site.

We tested the old website on 15 October 2026 and the live new site on 21 October 2026, using Google's standard test for a phone on a slow connection.
