Websites by trade
Law firm website design for solicitors.
Clients arrive with one question, about a will, a house move or a dispute, and look for the page that answers it. We build law firm websites with a page for each area of law.

Where law firm websites let clients down
- Your practice areas sit in one long list, so someone searching for help with an executry or a house sale finds another firm.
- Enquiries arrive with no detail, and someone spends the morning phoning back to find out what the matter is.
- The site still lists solicitors who have left.
- You are not sure the site shows everything your regulator expects.
- It reads like every other firm's site and says nothing about who you are.
What you get
A page for each area of law
Wills, executries, conveyancing, family, employment or whatever you do, each written for the client and checked by you.
Your people
Each solicitor with their role and practice areas, updated when people join or leave.
Your regulator's details
Law Society of Scotland details for Scottish firms; for firms in England and Wales, the SRA digital badge and, for some services, the price and service information the SRA asks for.
An enquiry form that sorts matters
It asks what the matter is about and how to reach the person, so each enquiry reaches the right solicitor.
Found for each service
Search-friendly pages, Search Console, and help with your Google Business Profile and client reviews.
Looked after
Hosting, security, backups and uptime checks, and up to 2 small changes a week.
How it works
Tell us about the firm
Your areas of law, your people and where your clients are. Asking is free.
A fixed price in writing
We reply by the next working day with the price for your site.
Draft, review, approve
We draft the pages in plain English. Your solicitors check every word about the law, and nothing goes live until you approve it.
Live, then looked after
Your site goes live on your own domain, and we keep it running and up to date.
The closest work we have done
We have not built a law firm's website yet. The closest is an agency that works with the legal sector, with a page for every service and sector and a quote form.
What a law firm's site has to show
- In Scotland: that the firm's solicitors are regulated by the Law Society of Scotland.
- In England and Wales: the SRA digital badge, and price and service information for the services the SRA's Transparency Rules list.
- A complaints procedure and a privacy notice.
We set the pages up to show these. Your firm's compliance officer has the final say on the wording.
Questions
How much does a law firm website cost?
It depends on how many areas of law and people the site covers, and whether you need online booking. We quote a fixed price in writing, by the next working day.
Can you add the SRA digital badge?
Yes. The SRA gives each firm in England and Wales the code for its badge, and we add it to the site.
Do you work with Scottish firms?
Yes. zxn.uk is a trading name of Mediant Partners Ltd, registered in Scotland, and we use Scottish terms, such as executries and missives, where your clients do.
Who writes about the law?
We draft in plain English from what you tell us, and your solicitors check every page. Nothing about the law is published without your approval.
Can clients book a consultation online?
Yes, through a booking link or an enquiry form. A booking system built for you is quoted separately.
Have you built a law firm website before?
Not yet. Our closest work is an agency that serves the legal sector, and we say so plainly rather than show work we have not done.
Run a law firm?
Tell us what you need. We reply by the next working day with a fixed price in writing.
