If you enjoy building it yourself
Plenty of photographers do well with a site builder such as Squarespace or Wix, and if you enjoy tweaking your own site, that may suit you better. This is for photographers who would rather hand it over: we build it, keep it fast and add your new work for you.
Questions
Should I use Squarespace or have my website built?
If you like doing it yourself, a site builder is a fair choice. If you would rather spend the time shooting, we build and look after it, and add new galleries for you.
Will large galleries slow my site down?
Not if the pictures are prepared properly. We size each picture for the screen it is shown on, so it stays sharp without a long wait.
Can clients check if I am free on their date?
The enquiry form asks for the date and place, so your reply can say yes or no straight away. A live availability calendar can be quoted separately.
Can you set up client galleries for proofing and downloads?
Those usually come from a service made for it. We link your site to the one you use.
How much does a photography website cost?
It depends on how many pages and galleries you need. We quote a fixed price in writing, by the next working day, and asking is free.
