Websites by trade
Construction website design for builders and roofers.
An extension or a new roof is a big decision, and people check you out for weeks before they ring. Your site should show finished projects and make asking for a quote easy.

If this sounds like your firm
- Your best projects are on your phone, not on your website.
- People ask for a quote with no idea of the size of the job, and you drive out to find out.
- Your memberships and insurance are not mentioned, so careful customers move on.
- You want more extensions and fewer small repairs, and the site does not say so.
- Commercial clients look for past projects and find a single page and a phone number.
What you get

Looked after
Hosting, security, help with your Google Business Profile and up to 2 small changes a week to add new projects.
How it works
Tell us about the firm
The work you do, the jobs you want more of and the photos you have. Asking is free.
A fixed price in writing
We reply by the next working day with the price for your site.
Draft, review, approve
We write the pages around your projects. You approve everything before it goes live.
Live, then looked after
Your site goes live on your own domain, and finished projects are added as you send them.
The closest work we have done
We have not built a website for a builder or a roofer yet. These are the pieces of our real work closest to what a construction firm needs, and why they apply.
- WebsiteVantage LinguistsA page for every service and sector, the way a builder needs one for each kind of project.
- WebsitePPS SecurityA quote form and a call button on every screen, for a firm with business and private clients.
- WebsitePerthshire ZooA larger, picture-led site, with a page for each part of what it offers.
If you also tender for commercial work
Main contractors and businesses look for past projects, the sectors you work in and your health and safety accreditations, such as CHAS or Constructionline, if you hold them. We add a page for each, so the site works for a homeowner and a buyer checking you before a tender.
Questions
What should a builder's website include?
Photos of finished projects, the services you want more of, the areas you cover, your memberships and insurance, your reviews and a quote form that asks about the size of the job.
Can you make galleries of our projects?
Yes. Each project gets a page with its photos and a short description. Send new ones as you finish them and we add them.
Should we show FMB or TrustMark membership?
If you hold them, yes. Customers planning a big job look for them, and we link each one so it can be checked.
Do roofers need a different website?
The pages are different: repairs, new roofs, flat roofs, guttering and chimneys, with NFRC membership if you hold it. The way it works is the same.
How much does a construction website cost?
It depends on how many pages and projects you need. We quote a fixed price in writing, by the next working day, and asking is free.
